Volunteer Here
We rely on our generous volunteers to staff YNFP. During opening hours, volunteers work with our beneficiaries to help them make the most of their visit and get the food they need. Volunteers also assist in stocking shelves and other activities. Please read about some of our volunteers below, consider how you can help, and contact us in the form below.
Groups welcome, too!
One of our volunteers — published Rhode Island poet Kent Robinson — has captured the spirit of Your Neighborhood Food Pantry in this trio of poems. It begins with an ode to hope.
Maybe as you read this, you are feeling hopeless during these hard times. If so, please find out how we can help here.
Or, you could be looking for a way to give others hope. If that's the case, you can find out more about volunteering here.
And don't miss his third poem, on a lighter note!
At his Bar Mitzvah, YNFP volunteer Micah Babchuck shared a lesson that every one of us needs to hear.
Watch him speak with the kind of clarity and generosity that reminds us why we do this work.
Micah brings the same spirit to the pantry every week, and we're so grateful to count him as a member of our team.
