4/8/2024: Your Neighborhood Food Pantry's board of directors has named Zachary Oz chairman, as the pantry's founding board chairman, Larry Shushansky, steps down to focus on his book project.
The board expresses its profound gratitude for Larry's support in launching the pantry and for his wife Jolie's seminal work as board advisor.
Zachary has sat on YNFP's board from the pantry's inception, and he has long engaged in the fight against food insecurity in Rhode Island. His knowledge and commitment will serve us well.

Who We Are
Our staff and board members are all passionate about fighting food insecurity in these challenging times. We bring a diverse set of backgrounds and expertise, including experienced food pantry executives, an administrator at the Community College of Rhode Island, a retired lawyer, a human resources professional, a community organizer, a medical researcher and an 80-year-old great grandmother and baker par excellence.
We welcome additional members to our staff. We also invite individuals and organizations to join our Neighborhood Friends Network, by considering contributions of food, partnership, operating funds and other support. Please contact Jacqueline Gardiner at ynfp22@gmail.com.
